Allergy and Asthma

Weight and Breathing

If weight loss was one of your top resolutions this year, you are not alone.

Weight loss, starting an exercise program and smoking cessation are the three top resolutions annually. Many times, it’s less about how your clothes fit, and more about the health benefits that go with it.

We spoke with Registered Nurse Practitioner Ed Neuzil, of Allergy, Sinus and Asthma Family Health Center about how having a few extra pounds can greatly affect your ability to simply breathe.

Even modest weight loss can result in significant improvements in your lung capacity.

Food Allergy Testing

With the Holidays come fancy foods, snacks and special treats. A happy time can quickly turn scary when you or someone you love has an allergic reaction to something they may not ordinarily include in their daily diet.

In January, we talked with Ed Neuzil at the Allergy, Sinus and Asthma Family Health Center about testing and awareness of food allergies.
