ASA Brownwood Opening

As The Villages continues to grow, so too does the demand for medical care - a driving reason behind Ed Neuzil’s decision to double down and open a second office. Hometown Health was at the ribbon cutting earlier in July.

Booster Protection

Pneumonia is a common lung infection caused by bacteria, a virus or a fungus. Many factors affect how serious a case of pneumonia is, such as the type of germ causing the lung infection, the person’s age, and their overall health.

Ed Neuzil, Board Certified Advanced Practice Registered Nurse at Allergy Sinus & Asthma Family Health Center explains what pneumonia is and some of the early steps we can take to try to protect ourselves from it.

Better Breathing

Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, also known as COPD, is a group of lung diseases that block airflow and make it difficult to breathe. Historically, COPD has been thought of as a man’s disease, predominantly striking elderly men. However, things have changed, and today COPD is being recognized in women as well.

We talked to Ed Neuzil, Board Certified Advanced Practice Registered Nurse at Allergy, Sinus & Asthma Family Health Center about COPD, what it is, and how it’s treated.

Also, a quick update: Allergy, Sinus & Family Health Center is getting ready to open a second office in the Villages town square of Brownwood, located right next door to Too Jays.  The office is planning on opening late June or early July.  We’ll continue to keep you posted.
