Diagnosing The Drip

The word virus, or more specifically, caronavirus, has been on the tip of everyone’s tongues as of late.  And we probably know more now as a general population about what a virus is.

But like many, even the slightest cough, sneeze, headache or chill probably caused even the most rational person some degree of concern.

Ed Neuzil, Board Certified Advanced Practice Registered Nurse at Allergy Sinus & Asthma Family Health Center shares a refresher course on the difference between a cold, flu, virus and allergies so you can better diagnose the drip.

We also want to mention that Ed is in the final stages of opening a second office, this one in Brownwood, next to the Too Jays in The Villages.  We’ll be sure to keep you updated on the status and grand opening on the Hometown Health Facebook page, and give you an inside look in the coming months.

Sneezin’ Seasons

Pollen seasons around the world are becoming longer and more severe; and that affects allergy sufferers. In our region of Florida, February and April are the most severe, due to extremely high volumes of tree pollen.

Ed Neuzil, Board Certified Advanced Practice Registered Nurse at Allergy Sinus & Asthma Family Health Center talks about allergies, allergy season and some of the changes we are seeing.

Also, special congratulations to Ed for celebrating a decade of helping allergy sufferers find relief with Dr. Neuzil’s Irrigator, a natural herbal enhanced nasal spray that naturally relieves the symptoms associated with nasal allergies.
