Kids’ Hearing Health

Hearing loss is typically a gradual process, and one that can have a major impact on how a child performs in school. Right now, one in five American teens suffer from some form of hearing loss, according to a study by the Journal of the American Medical Association. That’s about a 30 percent higher rate than in the 1980s and 1990s.
