The Lake County Health Department Observes National Black HIV/AIDS Awareness Day

On Wednesday, February 8, 2012, the Lake County Health Department (LCHD) will observe the National Black HIV/AIDS Awareness Day by offering HIV screenings at no cost.  The free screening will be offered from 1:00 – 4:00 PM at the Eustis Health Center located at 18 North Eustis Street, Suite 8 in downtown Eustis. 

 

ANNUAL “GIVE KIDS A SMILE” FREE DENTAL CARE EVENT SCHEDULED IN FEBRUARY

For the 6th consecutive year, the Lake County Dental Association (LCDA), in alliance with the Lake County Health Department (LCHD) and the Florida Department of Health Volunteer Health Care Provider Program (VHCPP) partner to give underprivileged children, between the ages of 3–18 years old, access to free dental services in celebration of ADA’s national Give Kids a Smile (GKAS) campaign.
