Hometown Health NBIA AwardHometown Health TV, LLC recently graduated from the UCF/Leesburg Incubator Program and has moved into it's new offices - still in downtown Leesburg.  You can read more in this article from the Daily Commercial.

Hometown Health TV, LLC / Red Apples Media has been named the 2012 National Business Incubator Association's non-technology Business of the Year.  A member of the Leesburg/UCF Incubator, the prestigious honor was received during the annual NBIA Conference in Atlanta.  Hometown Health TV / Red Apples Media was honored on April 25th with the Lake County Community Service Award in the Entrepreneur category. We are so humbled and so grateful for this recognition and look forward to pushing ourselves to new and greater service commitments in the months and years ahead.

 

 

Hometown Health Communitas AwardHometown Health TV, LLC has been honored by the Association of Marketing and Communications Professionals with a 2011 Communitas Award for our ongoing commitment - in partnership with our Hometown Health specialists - to making a difference in the health and wellness of our community.  Thanks to all of our partners for helping us to achieve this recognition.

 

 

 

 

Hometown Health TV, LLC was honored again by the Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals.  The September 2010 "Back to School" episode earned a Gold MarCom Award while also receiving an Honorable Mention for its February investigation into the lack of fluoride in the Lake County public water system.

Hometown Health TV, LLC also received a Gold 2009 Marcom Award for its June '09 episode and both a Gold 2009 Marcom Award and an International AVA Award for the feature, "Cancer and a Life-Changing Weekend" which was produced for the Lake-Sumter unit of the American Cancer Society. The seven minute video was produced for the Lake Sumter American Cancer Society in support of their 2009 Cattle Baron's Ball and re-aired in June on Hometown Health. This is the second gold honor received for this moving story of the battle against cancer through the eyes of two local young ladies and their families.   • Hometown Health TV, LLC and The Imagination Shop, Inc. are honored to have been recognized by the International AVA Awards for its production, "Cancer and a Life-Changing Weekend."  The seven minute video was produced for the Lake Sumter American Cancer Society in support of their 2009 Cattle Baron's Ball and re-aired in June on Hometown Health.     The international Ava Awards recognizes outstanding work by creative professionals involved in the concept, writing, direction, shooting, and editing of audio-visual materials and programs. Entries include film, analog and digital productions viewed in a wide variety of mediums- from movie screens to televisions to computers. Entrants include video and film production companies, web developers, advertising agencies, PR firms, corporate and government communication departments, producers, directors, editors, and shooters.
