Colorectal Cancer Awareness

The month of March is not just known for St. Patrick’s Day, March Madness and the beginning of spring. It is also known as Colorectal Cancer Awareness Month.

According to the American Cancer Society, colorectal cancer is the third most common cancer among men and women in the United States. It is estimated that approximately 140,000 new cases will be diagnosed this year, and over 50,000 people will lose their lives to the disease.
